Beach Packing List for Camp Brooks, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida
What to pack for your beach vacation:
Clothes, of course. Swimsuit, hat, sunglasses!
SUNSCREEN. Make sure it isn't expired.
Flip Flops/Sandals
Radio/Speaker
Appropriate chargers--phones, speakers, etc
Shampoo, conditioner, and soap
Kitchen stuff: sandwich bags and aluminum foil are frequently what I wish I had packed. (I use quart bags for my iphone on the beach)
A few garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, or anything else you don't want to buy mass quantity of for 2-3 items
I buy paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc) at the local grocery store. There's no savings in packing it.
Cooler
Florida has no grocery tax, and the local Publix always has great BOGO sales. It is usually cheaper for me to buy in town than pack groceries.
If you are bringing a pet, don't forget the crate!
Throw in some beach chairs for the public beaches, or you can rent from a beach service company on the beach.
I supply hand soap and dishwashing liquid, a roll of toilet paper and paper towels, and basic cleaning products under the sink. I provide all bed and bath linens. Kitchen is well-stocked.
